Modi begins ‘Make in India’ pitch

Promises to quickly resolve concern raised by the investors.PM Modi’s campaign in the U.S. to attract capital to the country and boost his ‘Make in India ‘ initiative kicked off with a meeting with 8 influential figures in the key financial hub of the world on Thursday.


T-HUB soft launch on October 1

T-hub, the incubator facility for start-ups developed in Hyderabad by the Telangana government, will have a soft launch on October 1. About 50 start-ups to move into the facility on IIIT Hyderabad campus and start the work.

Devolution of Powers to Panchayats sought

FGG wants devolution of 29 powers mentioned in Article-243G of the Indian Constitution to the panchayats. Forum for Good governance(FGG) has asked the Government of Telangana to ensure that the village panchayats become institutions of self governance, by powers to panchayats along with the funds and responsibilities thereof. As Gram jyothi and Mana ooru-Mana pranalika are , but only 10 out of 29 powers are given.


Centre banks on ISRO to curb illegal mining across states

The Union Ministry of Mines is planning to use remote sensing satellite data to curb illegal mining across states, said the mines Secretary, Balvinder kumar. The other plan is to use GPS to track the major minerals that have been mined.
