Challenging task for Skill India Mission:
Nearly 90% of employable people did not receive any vocational training, posing a challenge for
the government’s skill India mission.
Those who didn’t receive vocational coaching – 89.2%
Those who learnt on the job – 3.5%
Those who received hereditary training – 3%
Those who received formal vocational training – 2.2%
Those who learnt skills themselves – 1.7%
Those who received other vocational training – 0.4%
DRDL Hyderabad to be named after Abdul Kalam.
