India to hold G20 Chair in 2018, host may be New Delhi:
The Group of G20 is an international for a for governments from 20 major economies, It’s members are Argentina,Australia,Brazil,Canada,China,France,Germany,India,Indonesia,Italy,Japan,South Korea,Mexico,Russia,Saudi Arabia, South Africa,Turkey,U.K.,U.S. and E.U. G20 isn’t an organisation, but operates as a forum. One nation holds the chair, known as “G20 Presidency”. Turkey is chairing for 2015, China for 2016, followed by Germany for 2017 and India for 2018.
Five awarded death for 7/11 train attacks:

Nine years after a series of powerful explosions ripped through local trains in Mumbai, a special MCOCA court here on Wednesday sentenced to death alive convicts for planting bombs on July11, 2006.
The serial train blasts claimed the lives of 189 persons and injured over 800.Five were awarded the maximum punishment of death for hatching a criminal conspiracy under Sections 302 of the IPC(murder),16,3(I)(i) and 3(b). Five more additionally were sentence to life imprisonment under Section 307 (attempt to murder) and 326 (causing grievous hurt) of IPC and 152 of the Railways act.
Natural Gas price cut in line with new policy:
In a move that may hurt producers like ONGC and Reliance Industries but benefit the power and fertilizer sectors, the government on Wednesday cut the price of natural gas by 18% to $3.81 per million British Thermal unit (mmBtu) on a gross calorific value basis from the current $4.46 per mmBtu. The new price will be effect from oct 1 and for next 6 months .
TS Government allots land for Micromax.
18 acres in Fabcity to be alienated at Rs.30 lakh an acre.The Telangana government has allotted 18 acres land near Hyderabad for mobile phone maker Micromax’s proposed plant, at Rs.30 lakh per acre without infrastructure cost.
The proposed facility of Bhagawathi Products Ltd. (Micromax) would get the status of an ‘Anchor unit.’ Thus, units supplying accessories to it, up to a maximum of 10 plants,would also be considered for allocation of land on cost basis. The land is at Fabcity(Ecity) SEZ at Raviryal and Srinagar(v) in neighbouring Ranga Reddy district.
CM reaches out to Farmers:
Additional awareness: As against the 176 warehouses with four lakh tone capacity,330 additional warehouses under construction with 15 lakh tonnage, where farmers can store their produce. When the rate is low, farmers can store the produce and avail 75% loan from market committee, which can be repaid when there is good price.
Agricultural Officers: 1,500 posts sanctioned for the Department of Agriculture. One agricultural extension officer for every 5,000 acres. Government groom to 438 officers as agronomists. As of now, there is not even one agronomist.
E-passbooks: e-Passbook and e-Pahanis for framers in future. Towards consolidation of landholdings, free registrations will be allowed based on ‘Sada Bainamas’ written on white paper.
Tenancy Act: The tenancy act is quite strong in Telangana, according to which the period of tenancy should be a minimum of 5 years, and cultivation in 6th year will transfer ownership to the tenant. Due to this, owners are not willing to sign an agreement. Tenant farmers are obtaining lease on cash, and tenancy practices are need to be studied thoroughly.
Private money lending act: Fresh bill against private money lending practices proposed in this very first Assembly session.
Spurious seeds: Stringent action against sellers of spurious seeds. Agricultural university will be given additional grant for revival of research. Seed companies urged to adopt a mandal each for seed production. A total of 364 seed companies will adopt 438 mandals, and guide them.
